This year’s project is pelvic floor awareness in pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.

 Continence issues are very common during pregnancy and after delivery. Yet many people don’t know that is can be treated and that Physiotherapists actually treat incontinence.

 Rathmines Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre has developed information on:

  1. What is incontinence?
  2. Why does it happen during pregnancy
  3. Ways to reduce incontinence in pregnancy and after delivery
  4. Low intensity exercises to perform in water
  5. Continence screening survey to assess yourself whether or not Continence and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy may help you or someone you know.

If you are concerned that you may have continence please take a quick survey. This survey has been designed to enable us to assess your continence level. The screening survey will take 5 minutes to complete and your answers will be confidential.
