Did you know that headaches are one of the most common health problems experienced by Australians? Approximately 7 million Australians suffer from tension headaches and 3 million suffer from migraines.

This screening tool has been designed to assess the nature of your headaches and determine treatable elements of your headache, thus assisting you to develop a headache management plan. The screening tool will take 5 minutes to complete and your answers will be confidential.

Do your headaches ever interfere with your normal activities?

 

 

Do you have pain or tightness in your neck and shoulders with your headaches?

Do you have any visual changes such as seeing spots or stars or blurred vision?

 

 

If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions it is important to discuss a headache management plan with your physiotherapist or doctor. If you experience any of the symptoms outlined in the second part of the screening tool, it is also important to speak to one of the physiotherapists at Rathmines Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre or your doctor – as many of these symptoms can be treated, and in many cases cured.
